Just catching up on these last two posts. Sorry I didn’t know any of this was going on. I found what you wrote about washing the apple in the gas station to be a very potent blessing and witnessing all your witnessing of all the people‘s lives who are interwoven.
Tzivia I am so sorry to hear about Dick and your step mom! I hope and pray that they recover completely! And thank you so much for sharing your little story and feelings of gratitude💜
Thank you for reading and for your kind words! 💕💕💕 I’ve been thinking about you because you have a big day coming up! I hope you celebrate with dreams and dancing 💃 enjoy.
I, too, am caretaker to a very elderly parent. We do it out of love, but it's a difficult, demanding, often thankless love. Regardless, we do it, and we'd do it again without hesitation. It doesn't begin to payback those years of my life when Mom was there for me, very often alone in raising me and my younger brothers. Sending love and positivity
I laughed at the apple washing experience. On plenty of occasions, I have dangled a piece of fruit and a bottle of water out my car window to apply minimal hygiene before biting into an alien apple or handful of grapes. Brava!
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and stepmom. Sending well wishes to you and your family, and I'm very glad that you stopped at that particular gas station at the right time. Sometimes the universe puts the right people in our path just when we need them.
I know what you mean about finding those moments of goodness on the path. There really is so much kindness out there…it’s good to remind one another of that, and to pay it forward when we can 🙏💫
Thank you for these kind words. I am so conscious of the fact that I am not alone on this trying time…at any given moment so many of us are dealing with various levels of loss and grief. I’m glad I was able to put words to the moments of kindness that help make it all bearable… and sweetly human.
Tzivia, Of course I have missed your posts, and I thank you for entrusting your readers (like me) with the personal news of this double health emergency in your family. I am sure you are making a huge difference in the quality of care and support for your dad and step-mom. ❤️
A word, a smile, and just someone listening is a gift from heaven. Thinking of you with my heart full of ❤️

Thanks for reading, Jen! And thank you for your observation. Yes, the blessings are all around when we remember to look for them. 🌈💫
Prayers for all of you are on their way. Such a wrenching and draining time. Love asks so little and everything all at once.
Thank you for your prayers and for your beautiful words of wisdom. 🙏🌈💫

Tzivia, what a beautiful post! You described everything so vividly, I felt like I was right there with you! Your dad and stepmom are lucky to have
such a caring daughter. Just make sure you take good care of yourself, too.❤️
