Ready to unlock the meaning of your dreams? Pull up a chair, it's time to talk. And listen.

I want to start by welcoming all of the new subscribers who have come on board from the We are One Summit and 350 Dream Night last month. You are joining over 2,000 others in this online community of creative souls who share your curiosity about dreams and writing, and who value making the world a better place—from the inside, out!

In honor of our new friends, I want to take a moment to share one of my key beliefs about dreams and dreamwork.

People often ask me how to remember more dreams, and how to understand the ones they do remember.

In today’s video excerpt I encourage you to develop a relationship with your dreams, just as you would with a new friend.

“To befriend your dreams, treat them like a conversation partner.” —Tzivia Gover. (Photo by Levi Guzman on Unsplash)

What’s one thing you can do before bed tonight to let your dreaming mind know that you’re listening? Here are some ideas to help you get started:

  • Put paper and pen beside your bed.

  • Ask someone about their dreams, or tell someone about yours.

  • Read a book or blog post about dreams.

What can you add to this list?

For those who are new here, let me introduce myself:

Today’s video is excerpted from a longer conversation about 350 Dreamers, which is an international group that dreams to heal the climate. Caroline Ruderman, a reiki practitioner whose work I deeply admire, created this video as part of the We Are One Virtual Summit (March 2025). Check out her offerings here. Until next time …

I’m dreaming with you,
